Love these! I just loaded up all the old terry cloth version and donating them, these are so much nicer to use and take up almost no space. They clean very well, did not notice any strings after washing and did not shrink much... no funny puckering after washing which was really nice.... that would have drove me nuts to be honest. Even though I am not careful at all with stains... considering these are just dish clothes of course and that is their purpose... I have not noticed substantial discoloration. They do stain somewhat of course with active use, but most of the stain does wash cleanly out and the bit left I consider character stains of a well used and happy kitchen.
