Where should I start? This is my favorite cassava flour so far! I have been making cassava tortillas for everyone I know. They are getting rave reviews from all of my friends and family. This product is in a convenient resealable package. Many times I find that this type of packaging does not work well as a cheap zipper seal is used. Anthony's has not only created an outstanding product but the packaging is actually convenient as well. The best part is this product is cheaper than many of the competitors. It has a more distinct taste than any of the other cassava flours I have used in the past as well. I have also used a basic cassava flour tortilla recipe, filled it with delicious meat and cheese and fried it in avocado oil. It created the most delicious empanada I have ever had. It was crisp on the outside but not too hard to bite. (Trust me, some alternative flours turn rock hard when friend!) My favorite tortilla recipe is: 3/4 c cassava flour 1/4 t salt 2 T oil 1/3 c warm water. Mix / knead dough, adding more water if needed. Divide into 4ths or 6ths. Roll each ball out. Cook 1 min per side in heated skillet. Enjoy!
