Okay - here is my story. I have been staying with my mom for about 5 months now but went to my house just to check things out. I saw some staining in the toilet bowl (must have a slow leak) and that started my adventure! I used my normal cleaning and a brush and barely budged the stains. So I went to Amazon and found the toilet tank cleaner (I read the reviews), and decided to order the product. Received item promptly, read instructions then approached the toilet tank. After removing all of the junk on top of the toilet tank I was surprised at the brown gunk in the tank - it was gross! My toilet is less than 4 years old. The walls of the tank and the bottom was all brown. Ugh! Following directions, I poured half of the bottle into the tank and stirred the water in the tank (I used an old wooden spoon). Put the tank cover back in and walked out. Went back to my mom's and came back 4 days later (instructions say wait for a couple of hours and then re-apply if necessary). WOW! I turned on the bathroom lights and could not see the stain in the bowl. Took off the tank cover and all I saw was white on the walls and bottom of the tank! Water had a slight shimmer so I stirred the water. Had to flush twice to get rid of the product in the tank - water is now clear. As well as the tank, the bowl is spotless. This product works as described and does a great job! I have half of a bottle ready for the next time I have a gunky tank! NOTE: After my first flush - I used my toilet brush to make sure that the toilet bowl was stain free!
