Any guy can use This shaver but I am speaking specifically to African-American men. I am a 49 year old African American male, and I can guarantee you I've tried too many types to name. Anyhow, this shaver quite frankly CANNOT cut you. Even better than that, if you are prone to shaving bumps, this shaver promotes better quality shave (without razor bumps), so long as you follow these steps: 1). Do not press the shaver against you face too hard 2). Try your best to shave WITH the grain of your hair 3). Try NOT to go back over the same area too much 4). Use Witch Hazel immediately afterwards (Can be used on both head & face) This shaver saves me $20.00 a week, $80.00 a month, about $1,000 a year from going to a Barber. Additionally, I still use a regular razor on my face, but only to get that "baby butt" smoothness. This makes my razors last longer, which also saves $$$. *Tip - I shave my head and face twice a week so that the hair isn't too long. This enables you to not have to go back over the same shaved area too often.
