I have a hard time with getting the angle cut for the notch because it is so lightweight. It does the job for thinner trees, but it will limit you. The battery life is okay. I'm usually ready for a break by the time it dies. I am a middle aged female who enjoys working in the yard. I live on a woodsey lot, so this serves me well for trimming and taking out smaller trees that have died. Stronger males might not like the trade-off that comes with the saw being lighter, but I'm okay with it. The saw works best when you let it chew through at its pace instead of trying to exert force. My husband does not like using it, because he finds it slow, so I have all the fun.
