We had a spider problem in our room and discovered it was mostly coming from the vent that came from the basement. With a few other products (see list below) I made a vent cover that stopped the problem. The steel mesh is safe for the heating, the trim eliminates sharp edges, and the magnet strip creates a seal against the vent that firmly attaches, and the cutters worked like a breeze. Highly recommended. I'll definitely order more in the future to cover more vents.
