Quality Durable Leather. New purse delivered with careful packing:scratches to leather are minimized by protective wrappings. Craftsman included simple letter with care instructions. The color can range, as is an organic product, but my purse is truly a rich caramel color—no disappointment. I expect this leather will age and deepen in color with time & use, it will also soften to the familiar leather saddlebags. The leather smell is strong-something I like. However, I have to keep my face mask separate in car as absorbs leather smell—no fault of the purse or quality. There are plenty of storage organization in this purse. Every inch of this purse is leather, including inside. It is not fabric lined. The compartments and size of purse allow for 8x11 docs. One compartment is fully zippered. A smaller zipper storage is roomy for receipts and credit cards. External zipper storage on back of purse is long and deep, but tighter fit. I find it practical for a phone and earbuds- feels protected too. The strap is durable, made with same thick leather; also adjustable with metal hardware. As this is a larger messenger bag size, the strap includes a shoulder protecting flap that adjusts to user. I like how this purse sits against my hip while I walk, it doesn’t bounce, no noises, and doesn’t move over my chest/shoulders. If you are a tiny thin lady, this purse might swamp you. If you are an average or larger lady, this purse is proportional and compliments as a crossbody. Large breasted ladies will not find the leather strap uncomfortable or digging. It has the practicality of a messenger bag, but feminine cut on flap. There is matching hardware, appears like burnished copper, equally hardy as the leather. These feel very secure, would take great effort by a thief to infiltrate. The saddlebag pouches are great place for chapstick, candy, and small hand sanitizer. The purse is stable, does not flop over, as leather is sufficiently stiff to hold shape and sit up where placed. Now I am fully confident in this purse, bought it to please myself. Without broadcasting it for attention, this purse does attract compliments. Kudos to the craftswoman for a product that is pleasing, durable, and functional. May I also add-affordable.
