I live in NYC in the UES area which is notoriously surrounded by high rises. Because of this, I bought the 50 mile version. I am pretty sure getting a 50 mile one was probably overkill but I wanted to make sure I gave this little guy a fighting chance to do its thing. It does! Awesomely so! I think I got something like 70-ish channels scanned, obviously most are useless for me because they are in some foreign language or because they are selling something NO ONE needs (if you think otherwise on the latter, lets agree to disagree :) For what its worth, the reception was clearer than my overpriced TWC TV package (ooh btw, now that I've cancelled my TWC cable, I feel that my chances of retiring comfortably have increased immensely!). Your tax for this review, you ask? Mark 'helpful' so that other NYers, who are considering cutting the cord, can be liberated from the evil clutches of their cable box, the same one that is slowly bleeding their pockets worse than cancer would or that kid who was selling the pills for 750, up from a buck. By the way, what a ****** that guy was, right?!! Oh here's a tough question: If that d-bag was a subscriber to TWC, who would you hate more? As much as I hate TWC, I have to say I hate that guy more and would sympathize with TWC! Your thoughts?
