Not waking at 3am due to blood sugar
Someone who posted here saved me. This person posted, "Due to stabilizing blood sugar, no longer waking up at 3 am with an adrenaline rush due to blood sugar dropping during the night." Their symptoms were mine exactly. Frighteningly so. So much so that I have to believe other menopausal women are experiencing this, not getting answers from their MD's, and therefore, I am motivated to post my own journey in hopes of helping another woman facing this stage in life. I have a 5.5% A1C, MD's (multiple) said, "It's just menopause..." I haven't slept through the night in so long. Even 2 years post-menopause with and without HRT. Additionally, this person posted, "Hands and feet are warm again." I was getting Reynaud's -like symptoms with freezing cold fingers. Started taking this Adrenal Cortex and getting back to normal. Normalizing blood sugar and warm hands and feet. Between a caregiver for a sick Mother for 7 years (very different than raising children) and a sick Husband for 2 years, while working full-time and facing getting fired for losing focus (after years of top performance), etc., I firmly believe in adrenal fatigue. This isn't "quack science" or a made-up naturopathic McDiagnosis. No. Your adrenals can get horrendously fatigued and you will suffer, as I did, through a medical system that will say "you're fine" - it's just menopause, again. If menopause was this bad not a single female would live to see her 60th Birthday. Trust your body. If you are beyond fatigued, exercise and eat right yet blood sugars don't match (high morning, low at bed), and your kidney eGFR is declining for no reason per MD besides menopause, assume it's your adrenals. I finally got to the point of, "What do I have to lose?" and took this, 4 the first day, and for the first time in 4 years have hope. Thank you anonymous for sharing your experience. You saved my life.
