I Moved into a house that has this pond about two years ago. In that time, I have spent hundreds dollars buying different pond products trying to figure out what works to keep my pond clear and clean as well as something that is safe for my koi. I started this product last fall and I have continued it this spring. Not only is it the cheapest, but it is also the easiest and best solution that I have found to keep my pond clear and clean. All I have to do is just empty one of these into my filter every month in my pond stays clear and clean. (The amount that you use will obviously depend on the size of your pond) I really wanted to share this just for people like me who have tried a lot of different things over the years and just need something that works. For all those people who have negative reviews on the product or are having trouble with their pond. Ponds are tricky. You may have an issue that product just can't fix. In which case a water cycle or maybe using a fine filter to help remove some sediment maybe necessary before you use any product you can buy from Amazon or any pond care retailer. AlI know is that I have tried nearly everything out there and this stuff really works. The key is just keeping up with it. Not just putting it in when your pond isnt clear and clean, but putting it in every month so it is always clear and clean. That is probably the biggest lesson I have learned. I hope this helps.
