Representation matters
So strange that folks think marriage is a mature topic. My 4 and 6 year old have two moms and love seeing families like theirs in books. While we love to see LGBTQ folks in books, I don't write negative reviews for books that include heterosexuality even if it means I might have to awkwardly explain that some folks love and marry folks of a different gender. Also, my kids and family don't come with warning labels so neither should this book.
