The shelf was incredibly easy to put together. It took a little lining up but super simple to snap the shelves on. The outer frame is all assembled. When you get it the only thing to do is pop the feet on, and snap the 4 shelves into place on the hinged frame. The shelf is sturdy and has good height for most all kitchen products. I have two of them. One is in the kitchen and one is holding a jar terrarium and some bonsai trees. I ordered more Seville products because of the simplistic elegance and usefulness of the other three I have. The items are very purpose driven, which I like.
