Disclaimer: This is my first purchase EVER for a coffee bean grinder. I don't have anything to compare this to and I am solely rating this product on how well it suited my desire which was to grind coffee beans. Given the disclaimer above, the product is very very good for what it is. It looks very unassuming but it gets the job done. In 9 seconds and a rather quiet manner, it grinds coffee beans evenly and neatly. Even better, the device is easy to clean without having to disassemble the whole thing at all. My advice would be to buy a small rag that you can dampen and re-use to avoid wasting paper towels. At the end of the day, it's a simple, no frills device that did what I wanted it to do: grind coffee beans & easy clean
