Good product that does what it says for a low price. Can't go wrong.
I was a bit skeptical about using these since they are so much less expensive than others I found for sale. But the performed very well!
I did test them by placing tissue paper inside each and them putting them at the bottom of my hot tub (3ft / 1m deep) over night. No leaks!
We used them pretty extensively for over a week in Hawaii and both our phones survived.
And the pictures and videos taken from inside the pouch look fantastic (just mind the condensation - see my tips below).
A few tips:
- The plastic at the top can trap drops of water which can drip down into the pouch as you're extracting you phone. That small amount of water probably will not going to damage your phone but it can cause condensation inside the pouch. If your phone has raised bezel around the camera, you may get fogging on the inside of the pouch right over your lens. When this happened to me, I was able to wiggle my phone around in the pouch enough to get a clear view. Just be careful to not get water in the pouch (duh) and it should be a problem.
- Be a bit careful when opening them up. It feels as though if you're too rough with it, you could rip or stretch the pouch to the point of not being able to seal. The material (vinyl) is pretty sturdy but best to be gentle.
- The clasps can pop off and fly a few feet if you open/close it too quickly. So be careful, you wouldn't want one of the clasps to fly off the boat while your trying to put your phone in the pouch.
