Want an honest review? Here goes. Bulldogs. I love them but they burp and fart nearly non stop. My 9 month old male is a regular gas factory, and my 7th month old female just went into heat. If anyone has females who go into heat, you know that smell of sewage and death they leave behind for weeks. Its God awful. If I do not let my dogs out in the middle of the night, my female every now and then will leave you a #1 or #2 surprise. The point of all this? My two smelly Bulldogs who I love despite that fact, have their own room. Before this filter, as soon as I opened the door in the mornings, instant dog breath, sometimes the smell of urine, or a nice pile of my favorite way to start the day, it was always some unpleasant smell. We placed this filter in the room on 2 for 24/7, and since that point, I haven't smelt a thing. Twice now I've let my female out of her crate and went to fix the blankets and found a surprise in the corner, literally looking at it an still couldn't smell it. I now have to do a smell test on the blankets to make sure no one had an accident because I cannot smell it anymore. It is powerful enough to kill the smell of two Bulldogs, which to me is amazing. In another room, my bedroom, before the filter, every morning when I rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom for the daily ritual, this included blowing out the nasty accumulation of who knows what that decided to call my nostrils home. As a dog owners, dander and hair are quite common, and I have allergies, so this was expected, and a daily ritual for me. Put a filter in the room, and the first night I get up to go to the bathroom, I grab a tissue and blow... and nothing. Literally, nothing. This little filter kept dust, allergens, and whatever else was crawling in my nose while I'm sleeping out, and I wake up able to breathe! It's amazing! Worth the money! Update: As of 10/16 I have four of these (each bedroom) and two of the large ones (one upstairs, one downstairs) and my house is normally smell free and allergy free. I have not had any issues out of them, the one that I did (noisy motor), the manufacturer sent me a free replacement and very quickly. Still give five stars.
