I did a lot of research on heat presses before I purchased this one. And everything about it is more than I could ask for...except...It does not heat up to the temperature that I have it set to. I have checked and rechecked to make sure I have it on Fahrenheit, not Celsius. I have even tested the heat with 2 different laser infrared gauges; even purchased an inexpensive metal food thermometer which is placed directly on the top heated plate...but still too much of range difference in temps for me to be pleased with it. I have it set at 375 degrees, but the highest it registers is 305 degrees. I could move the temp to about 425 degrees, but I feel it should be heating at 375, like the digital readout says. I went so far as to press an item for 30 seconds, and as soon as it was removed I checked the temperature on the top. I've contacted Tusy, but have not heard anything back from them. I'm hoping that this one can be swapped out and I can give this the 5 star review that I would like to! It was purchased on 10/11/19. I truly LOVE everything else about this heat press!! **** I am editing my first review. After emailing the TUSY company, they quickly replied back to me, sent a helpful video to show me how to reset the temperature (or recalibrate) on my press, and now it works PERFECTLY! It only took me about 2 tries to get it corrected, and I even tested the actual heat press temp with the digital readout; it was only off about 2-4 degrees. I am VERY pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this machine to anyone that is a first time buyer of a heat press. And I'm glad I went with the 15" x 15" press!
