Vibrant colors and good consistency are hallmarks of this product. The bottles contain a fine brush, that can enable a thin line, or fill in a fingernail. For a fine line, you will have to wipe off the excess gel polish onto the side of the bottle mouth. It takes a little practice to know how much polish needs to stay on the brush to effect a well defined line. To begin, use less than you think. It's mush easier to go over a line to add polish than to remove too much applied polish. This also works very well when using a stencil. Or, after applying a sticker, rhinestone or other decoration, you can use this gel polish to highlight or embellish the look. I feel this product meets expectations. The set has a good assortment of vibrant colors. None of the them leaked. The set of 'painting' gel polish paints a 4.5 - 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.
