I've been wanting to try detergent sheets for a while, but they can be a bit pricey. These were very reasonably priced. There is a slight scent to the scent free sheets while in the box, but it didn't leave any scent after the wash cycle. Overall, they work great! I did not have super high expectations, but they got mud/ river muck out of boy clothes. Highly recommend. P.S. I've been using these for a couple of months now and I still love them. P.P.S. I rip the sheet into quarters and put them in the powder detergent slot in the wash machine. Since high efficiency washers don't use much water, (I've had major issues with fabric softener in the past) I do not put the sheets directly on the clothes in the drum. Also, anyone worried about residue, try adding a little white vinegar to the load (preferably in the bleach slot).
