Here are the HACKS to make this litter box work
I'm on my 5th one. Litter boxes disgust me and this seemed like the perfect fit but some of these negative reviews have truth to them but I've found the hack to making this product perfect:
Once you install the grate, super glue it down. The latches don't hold and you don't need to move it. Super glue it down.
Then duct tape the top to the bottom piece (as photo depicts) as that plastic does expand and can be a leak of litter. Once it's duct taped shut, there's no way the litter will leak into the disposal tray.
Also the correct litter is a MUST! The fresh step boxed litter (like powder) works amazing, but the bigger litter doesn't work as well.
Once you DYI these issues, the product is GREAT! Only 4 stars because I have to problem solve.
