I'm writing this because there is SO MUCH DECEIT in the mattress business. I searched the web for nearly 2 hours before finding this one. Here are my criteria: 1) Is the foam Certipur certified? If not, FORGET IT. 2) Is the topper/mattress, etc. PURE MEMORY FOAM. It is unbelievable, but there are tons of items that call themselves memory foam, but are just partially memory foam, the rest "support foam" which is WAY cheaper. 3) What is the density of the memory foam? Although it doesn't say so in the description, uses have stated that it's about 4 lb. density in an answers to questions about this topper. That is ideal. If you get one that's 2 lb., as so many of the cheaper ones are, you'll bottom out and hate it. 4) What is the thickness of the item? Obviously, too thin and it won't do any good. Although I don't care about it that much, this one apparently has a nice cover, too. Now, given all of those factors, try to find a topper at anywhere near the price of this Langria. I wish you the best of luck. UPDATE: I have received the topper and have slept on it last night. First of all, although there is a warning about slight odor, I could detect none with my nose pressed against the topper. I am 5'11", 170 lbs. I bought the topper to try to make a rock hard mattress more comfortable, to alleviate hip and shoulder pain, since I'm a side sleeper. In a word, the topper is fantastic. While I might have preferred something just a tiny bit softer, it will probably break in. No pain last night or this morning. The good news is that it's not difficult to turn over since I don't sink in that much. In all, take it from someone who's done a fair amount of research - this is it, you won't match this for anywhere near this price. This is obviously a company who is not trying to fool people to make money. They just give as good a product as they can for as good a price as they can. As I said above, try to find all the features of this one at a similar price. But the proof is in the sleeping, and its features definitely do their job.
