Don't let others tell you who you are.
My little son, 9 years old, was being a little self depreciating. I don't understand where these thoughts come from. After hearing him talk badly about himself, I saw a little pattern developing and I had to squish it. I bought these books to let him know how very important and special he is to his Daddy and I.
I caught him reading them with little tears in his eyes, running down his cheeks. He told me they were just happiest tears.
