Ihave been playing this game since Sept. 2nd. I have reached level 40. I have not purchased gems. I have 93 different types of animals, and the possibility to keep getting more without gem purchases. But you have to be patient. One important lesson this game could teach children is patience. I will explain why in a moment.The game entails a pet shop that you fill with pet families. When my sister first told me about the game I thought it was odd... a game about breeding and cross breeding animals? Interesting concept for a game...apparently created for young children to play? I wonder if the breeding of animals helps parents explain where "babies" come from to their kids? That being said, I can try to explain why one might like the game. I like using strategies to make the most amount of coins in the least amount of time. The way you make coins is by buying a pet with the coins you are given to start the game. Placing its pen in your shop you then buy it a mate...then you can breed them by buying time in the breeding nursery... where the baby incubates in a basket under!! a blanket for a certain amount of time... the times and costs are all different. But its possible to choose time needed to "cook" the baby based on your own schedule. Once your baby is born it is placed in the pen with its parent. A complete family consists of set of parents and two babies. Then you can upgrade the pen to make that animal pay out more coins. You can only get one set of any animal. There are cats, bunnies, birds, reptiles, dogs, fish...each with upgradable pens. I play this on a cell phone using the screens ability to zoom in and out to gather coins and rearrange my store. There are always challenges and collections to strive for, if you like that sort of activity. I like to visit other neighbors shops and see what other possible configurations are possible. Every single one is different...like snowflakes. In conclusion, I have enjoyed building and maintaining my shop...but it does require patience. Unless you got $ to spend. Oh yeah..if you don't pick up baby in a timely manner.the worst sick thing is one must abandon a sick baby or pay gems to help it live...terrible sick twisted lesson. It happened to me twice...one I abandoned the other I used gems provided at start of game... I keep an eye on the time now.
