I am super super pleased with this product. I bought a cheaper gouache set before this, it was good for the price but upgrading to this, was the best decision! It is very rare to find a portable, quick to use gouache palette, gouache is reusable if it dries, the issue was with me and my prior gouache set was that it was harder to activate and wasn't as pigmented as dabbing fresh paint onto the palette. They come in 14 cakes, and 1 white tube (10ml) of gouache, plus a great Number 8 Round brush and the interior has 5 mixing areas. The colors are very rich, creamy, and pigmented, it was so fun to swatch! They dry fairly fast as well, an observation is that the cakes dry a bit more fast than on the paper, but for me personally it is not a issue whatsoever. This is portable of course but quite large as well! I love that each cake pan is removable so you may re-position each color as you please like I did so! I think another useful thing about the cakes being removable is that you can just pop in a smaller box and take some of them with you, such as a Altoids mints tin box (just add a bit of sticky putty or a glue dot to ensure they don't move!)
