Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I have had this little heater for over one year. The first time I used it was in a tent trailer and it was a bad experience. The heater stunk the whole trailer with a strong pungent oil odor. The trailer was cold to begin with and I had to open the door and windows to air it out. Some camping friends with experience with these type of heaters explained you needed to burn off the oil residue in the heater to get rid of the odor. I burned one 16oz can on the heater outdoors overnight and this got rid of the oil odor. My advise with this heater is to try it out first at home in the garage or another outside building and break it in before taking it with you on a camping outing. Aside from this initial bad experience, this is a great little portable heater that suits my camping needs.
