These bags have saved the life of my 13-year-old and more importantly, saved his father from endless bellyaching and complaining. He (the 13-year-old) is tasked with taking out the food waste container in our household and it was a most unpleasant ordeal for him before we started ordering these bags. Prior to this we were using paper bags and food would leak through the bag and make a mess in the container which meant that it had to be cleaned out regularly so that it didn't start to smell. This cleaning was the cause of endless complaints from the above-mentioned 13-year-old. These bags keep the container clean and dry and allow us to dispose of the food waste cleanly and neatly. This has allowed my child to focus on complaining about more important things like why we don't let him spend more time playing video games or going to movies with friends on school nights.
